About Legin Bikes
A small Gold Coast workshop, two electric bikes, and a lot of testing on local sand, hills and heat.
Where it started
Built here, for the way people ride here
Legin builds electric bikes on the Gold Coast for people who actually ride them.
Australian roads and trails ask a lot of a bike. Sand, heat, long distances, rough tracks. Most e-bikes sold here were designed for somewhere else. Ours were not.
What goes into them
A high-torque Bafang motor. Samsung 21700 battery cells. Tektro 203mm hydraulic disc brakes. Shimano 7-speed gearing. Fat tyres that handle sand and gravel without complaint. Range runs up to 80km, and both models carry two adults up to 180kg.
Two bikes, one idea
The Mach 1 covers daily riding and weekend trails. The Mach 1 Pro adds a bigger battery, more power, a DNM mid shock, phone charging and a twist throttle for riders who go further.
A small team you can reach
We answer our own emails. If something goes wrong, you talk to us directly, not a call centre on the other side of the world.
